Exercise and Falls Prevention Programs - Waterloo Wellington

Group exercises and falls prevention classes help seniors and people with disabilities living in the community stay healthy and active. Classes are publicly-funded and held at various community locations.

SMART Gentle Exercise Classes (Seniors Maintaining Active Roles Together)
and
Wellness Active Living Club (WALC) Fitness Classes
  • Classes are 45 minutes long
  • Drop in to classes when you are available
  • All classes are voluntary, self-directed and free of charge
  • These classes have varied schedules check the Events Section for a list

Falls Prevention
  • Falls Prevention education is an integrated program with exercise sites
  • No drop in - clients should attend from the first class to the last class
  • Clients need not attend both exercise and falls prevention though they are encouraged to do so
  • All classes are free of charge
