Exercise and Falls Prevention Programs - Waterloo Wellington

Exercise and falls prevention classes help seniors and people with disabilities living in the community stay healthy and active. Classes are publicly-funded and held at various community locations. Read more about this Ontario government program.

SMART Gentle Exercise Classes (Seniors Maintaining Active Roles Together)
and
Wellness Active Living Club (WALC) Fitness Classes
  • Classes are 45 minutes long
  • Drop in to classes when you are available
  • All classes are voluntary, self-directed and free of charge
  • These classes have varied schedules check the Events Section for a list

Falls Prevention
  • Falls Prevention education is an integrated program with exercise sites
  • No drop in - clients should attend from the first class to the last class
  • Clients need not attend both exercise and falls prevention though they are encouraged to do so
  • All classes are free of charge
