Community Support Connections - Meals on Wheels and More

CSC is dedicated to enabling adults to live with independence & dignity in their own homes. We are looking for an individual who can create exceptional experiences in greeting visitors & answering calls while being proactive & responsive in coordinating & communicating schedules for our Transportation, Exercise, Meals on Wheels & other programs. This is a challenging role requiring a great deal of motivation & initiative.

Position:  Scheduler/Dispatcher

Region:  Cambridge & Area, Kitchener-Waterloo & Area, Guelph & Wellington

Then you must not pass this opportunity by! We are currently seeking talented, high performing individuals to join our resourceful & flexible Scheduling Team who are committed to providing excellence in every encounter.
High school diploma & minimum 6 months related professional experience or equivalent combination of education & experience
Ability to speak languages other than English, scheduling experience, knowledge of the transportation industry & local geography are decided assets
Valid Driver’s License, valid First Aid/CPR Certificate, clear Driver’s Abstract & daily access to a reliable vehicle for business-related travel

Main Duties:
Be the first point of contact to current & potential clients, their caregivers, volunteers, donors, staff & community partners who are visiting &/or calling the office
Work collaboratively with the Customer Service/Scheduling Team to schedule agency volunteers, staff & vehicles & communicate schedules to clients, volunteers & staff
Accurately enter & update client information & program schedules into the agency’s Client Information Management System (“CIMS”)
Be flexible to work evenings & weekends as required

Salary:  To be negotiated

Terms of Employment:  Full-Time
