Service Description: Various support groups for women dealing with abuse, separation, or divorce.

Abuse Support Group:
  • confidential group for women who have experienced any form of abuse
  • a safe environment to share stories and receive the tools and support needed
  • call for registration and ongoing day and evening sessions
  • no cost

Spanish Social Group:
  • for Spanish speaking women
  • meet new friends
  • guest speakers
  • community events

A Women's Group (50+):
  • share insight and perspectives in a moderated forum

Separation & Divorce:
  • provides a safe environment to share concerns and receive support

Employment Network:
  • provides resume writing, job searching, interviewing and networking skills
  • five weeks
  • call for ongoing sessions

Family Law Legal Clinic:
  • advice and guidance on family issues around separation/divorce, child/spousal support, and child custody/access
  • women only
  • no appointment
  • first 4 women served

Family Law Workshop: 16 Things You Need to Know Before You Separate
  • one day workshop explores various actions to strengthen participants' position

Income Tax assistance:

New Start Entrepreneurial Program:

Counselling Services In Own language:

Self-Esteem Coaching:
  • helps participants to discover self-limiting thoughts, behaviours, and feelings
  • participants will explore tools and strategies to increase self-worth, and self-confidence

Fees: All support sessions, counselling, coaching and workshops are free. Fee based sliding scale for all day legal seminar.
