Service Description: Various meeting locations in Halton Hills and Milton

An anonymous fellowship, separate from Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), of relatives and friends of alcoholics.
  • non-professional, self-supporting, spiritually based, apolitical
  • members share experience, strength and hope in order to solve common problems
  • based on the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions adapted from AA

Alateen:
  • part of the Al-Anon Fellowship designed for younger relatives and friends, up to age 19, of alcoholics
  • follows the same Twelve Steps, Twelve Traditions, and principles as Al-Anon
  • members conduct their own meetings with the guidance of a certified Al-Anon Sponsor
  • members focus on sharing and learning effective ways to cope with their common problems and challenges

* Alateen program for ages 12-19 years
