Service Description: Offers recreation, education and fitness opportunities along with special event and workshops geared specifically to adults aged 55+ to promote emotional, social and physical well-being. The Centre is operated by the Township of Centre Wellington, Parks and Recreation Department.

Facility includes large activity rooms, full kitchen, craft room, billiards room, library, clinic rooms, computer lab, fitness rooms, shuffleboard / carpet bowling courts, fully accessible washrooms, elevator.

Programs and services include:
  • health and wellness (blood pressure clinics, arthritis education, foot care clinic, CNIB low vision clinic, hearing clinics, reflexology, chair massage)
  • life long learning (book club, weekly seminars and workshops on topics of interest to older adults, genealogy group)
  • leisure and fitness (daytime, evening, weekend computer classes; fitness, dance, yoga, tai chi, nordic pole walking, cycling, line dancing, watercolour and drawing classes, music (choir, guitar and ukulele)
  • cards and games (euchre, bid euchre, bridge, canasta, cribbage, chess, crokinole, darts, table tennis, scrabble, shuffleboard, snooker, mah jong, carpet bowling, pickleball, woodcarving)
  • special events (Christmas bazaars, fashion shows, monthly New Members' Talk and Tours, Peach Social, Strawberry Social, Poker Walks, Retirement Show)
  • weekly hot lunch and BBQs (in season), coffee and refreshments available all day everyday
  • bus trips (scheduled monthly)
  • other services (Garden Fresh Box, crafts room with crafts for sale to the public)

Fees: Membership * Members pay a reduced fee for programs. Non-seniors and non-members are welcome.
