Service Description: Provides programs and services to meet spiritual and human needs within the community.

Services include:
  • emergency food hampers (no cash is dispensed)
  • clothing, small household items
  • diapers, baby food (if available)
  • emergency transportation vouchers
  • prescription vouchers (non-narcotic) up to $50
  • shelter aid program
  • basic counselling and referrals
  • Christmas Hamper program

Programs at 1320 Gordon St location:
  • Nursery School (Sep-Jun), Summer Day Camp (Jul), Lounge and Loft Libraries

**In response to the growing need for assistance within the community, several Guelph churches, including the Salvation Army, have formed the CORE group (Guelph Churches' Outreach Program) to address some of these needs on an emergency basis only.
