Service Description: Family support service providing temporary caregiver relief for people who are caring for a family member with a developmental and / or physical disability.
  • facilitates the connection of Independent Service Providers (ISP/Helpers) with families requiring respite support
  • connections through a Family Registry and CHAP Worker Database
  • information on community respite services and workshops / events

respiteservices.com is a collaboration of the Canadian Mental Health Association Waterloo Wellington (Special Services At Home Program) and Family Counselling and Support Services (Access Information and Referral).
Note: only registered CHAP Workers will be connected with the families
