Service Description: Self help peer support group for individuals challenged with mood disorders and the families and friends that support them.

Meetings held at First Baptist Church, Guelph (main floor parlour)

All-inclusive, self-help, peer support group for those challenged by a mental illness and the families and friends that support them. Purposes include:
  • to work with community partners
  • meet and share experiences in support of one another
  • inform and educate participants, mental health professionals and the public
  • eliminate discrimination and social stigma surrounding mental illness and mood disorders

Fees: None - for membership or attendance at meetings
Application: Self-referral; referral through a doctor; referral from a friend
Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Those challenged with mood disorders; family members and support caregivers are welcome
